Every Thursday at 19:30 I host a Functional Yoga class at The Wellbeing Campus in Bebington.
It’s a weekly class and the focus is on a mixture of flexibility, mobility, stability and strength. The aim is to give your body what it needs to move better, eliminate aches and pains and aid recovery. Functional, human movement from an anatomy perspective!
Essentially, I want you to be able to take control of your body. Some of this will look like yoga, some of it will feel like yoga and some of it will be nothing like yoga at all. It’s suitable for all levels and everything can be adapted for your body and your current ability.
My class is for anyone who is looking to move better and eliminate aches and pains. It is ideal for anyone who leads an active lifestyle or plays regular sport and it can really work to balance the body and bulletproof your muscles from injury. It will help you to improve your flexibility and get more out of your body. If the more traditional elements of yoga aren’t what you’re interested in, my class is a great way to get moving using the fundamentals of yoga without the more spiritual aspects.
If you want to gain a better understanding of your body and how it moves, then my class if for you.
Hopefully, I’ll see you on the mat soon!
